News at the studio

Oh my gosh! I got an email from my frined April about a scrapbook layout selling for $257 on ebay. So, I got right on it. I went to Craig List and posted my card kits and my school days albums for sale. I already got one email asking about the card kits. I am going to have to work on the pictures of these products. I asked hubbie to look into having gallery software but who knows where it is on his to do list.
I finished 3 6x6 birthday albums and got my order in from The Angel Company so got right on with making a friends album for April. Just order poly bags to put the pages in. I am going to sell them with or without an album that way if someone really likes the pages but would rather go find an album themselves they can. I am hoping that with the new catalog coming out which is being shipped at this moment. Ahhhhhhh! Anyways, I am hoping they will have some more color selections for the different album sizes. Well, gotta get back to scrappin! Workshops and craft fairs are coming up quick!

Another day, scrappin' away...

I had bunco here last night with some ladies from MOPS at the Tri Lakes Chapel. As usual, everyone was super impressed with the studio. It really is an awesome space for scrapbooking. I think I am spoiled. It just wouldn't be the same cropping anywhere else. Anyways, one of the ladies was interested in the Fireworks paper I have for sale and having me make a 4th of July album for her. I went ahead and made two of them today at the same time. Trying to work out the kinks in putting albums together for sale without taking tons of time. They came out awesome. I still have to put the hardware in them and then I will get some pictures done and up on the blog.
I am also looking into getting photo gallery software so I can have a whole album in a gallery that can be flipped through. Hubbie is looking into the details as I am not a computer genius by any means. Hopefully, I will be able to get a gallery going very soon.
I still have to tell you my formula for cranking out a theme album. I am a bit pooped so I will have to do it tomorrow. Hasta la pasta!

Welcome!

I am attempting to get into the swing of this blog stuff. Such a neat concept! I hope you will come back often and see what I have been up to.
I just made 2 mini 6x6 albums last night with the theme of school days. Each page is devoted to each grade from Pre-K to Senior in college. I am making them to sell at a craft fair I will be a vendor at on July 20th at Shreiver Air Force Base. I am going to have to make 2 for my kids school pictures.
I am just loving theme albums. When I started scrapbooking I just went straight into the chronological mode of doing an album for a year. But these smaller sized albums and having a theme make it very easy and quick to put together something that isn't bulky. You can take them in your purse and share wherever you go. I just love it!
I created a formula in designing these theme books. Come back tomorrow to read about my formula so you can try it for yourself.
